Required Qualifications & Essential Functions & Responsibilities

- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to expedite repair of HVAC systems
- Assist customer service coordinator in effectively and efficiently scheduling the service department

- Hold team meetings and one-on-one meetings to evaluate and develop an enjoyable, excellent, and efficient service team
- Evaluate and hold service and maintenance technicians accountable to the desired results of their positions
- Order special order parts and assist service and maintenance technicians in part ordering as needed
- Evaluate and maintain service and maintenance parts on vehicles and in shop stock
- Inspect and record vehicle cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance
- Evaluate drivers’ operation and stewarding of company vehicle and lead drivers towards excellence in this area
- Evaluate and coordinate fleet repairs and upgrades
- Ability and desire to gently, humbly, and clearly lead with the goal of serving the team
- Possesses both written and verbal English language skills
- Willingness to improve leadership and communication skills

Job Title: | HVAC Maintenance Technician |
Work Hours: | Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM with 30 minute lunch plus evenings and weekends as workload requires. After hours on call as needed. |

Pay Scale: | $25- $45 per hour based on ability, attitude, performance, and experience. Eligible for performance bonuses |

- Properly and efficiently diagnose HVAC systems and repair and/or maintain to operate at optimum performance and prevent urgent failures.

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment including completion of maintenance checklists in full
- Communicate with customers and collect C.O.D. on maintenance and demand service visits as directed
- Ability to work staggered schedule if required
- Provide all customers with new / renewal maintenance agreement program information
- Inform and educate customers about residential planned maintenance agreements
- Acquire and renew residential planned maintenance agreements
- Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company

- Follow instructions from supervisor and/or customer service coordinator and carry out in timely manner

Desired Results
- An HVAC Install Assistant is expected to follow his/her lead installer’s directions safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- He/She should be learning to perform the installation tasks and processes and be able to install all ductwork, condensate drains, gas lines, and flue & combustion pipes with only job specific instructions and quality inspections postwork.
